  What
You can create your own custom Puppy CD (with the applications and settings of your choice) using the remaster scripts:
* PCCC Script
* Alienx simple remaster-CD
* Puppy Unleashed
* Puppy Sourcerer
  How
Alienx simple remaster-CD
Alienx (Forum name) has done a superb job with his simple remaster-CD scripts. "Start -> Setup -> Alienx simple remaster-CD". These are an alternative to the "official" remaster-CD/DVD script.

PCCC Script
"This is a script with a GUI (Graphical User Interface). It's very simple to use."

Puppy Unleashed
"The main difference from PCCC is that you are starting from scratch, whereas PCCC uses the current live-CD as the starting point. Also, with createpuppy, you need to have the entire Puppy Unleashed installed, with all the Unleashed packages to choose from."

Puppy Sourcerer
"This is the lowest level. This is a collection of the source code for all the packages. The ultimate objective is that we will have a build script that will enable us to compile all of Puppy from source, however what we have currently is a script to compile one package at a time and copy the binary files to Puppy Unleashed."

Other methods:

HackyRemaster v. 2 - remasters live CD
"This rox-app lets you remaster your livecd. However, it works very differently from the remastering script that Puppy comes with. Normally, Puppy asks you what to include and what not to include... On the other hand, what HackyRemaster does is makes a complete filesystem on the harddrive based on the livecd. This is within a partition image, just like the pup001 file. You can then mount it and edit whatever you want at your leisure. When you have it ready, it will recompress it. Then it helps you construct isolinux.cfg (though you can also edit it manually) and re-builds the iso..." Pizzasgood

PupBeGone-Package Remover for Built-In Unleashed Packages
"PupBeGone is a hacked PupGet that displays the files that Puppy comes with by default. Stuff like Abiword or Beaver or Mozilla. It then lets you remove them. This is accomplished by downloading the package, making a filelist out of it, then using that list to remove the package..." Pizzasgood
