Wget

Wget is a program for downloading files via HTTP & FTP, and is included in Puppy. It is a command line program (accessed directly via the terminal, but there is also a graphical interface for it included in Puppy, called Xwget).

When Wget is downloading, a text window will be open, showing what's happening. Do not close this window before your download is finished or it will be terminated.



A Wget window will also open when using Puppy's package manager to get new software to install.
