2005 Promotion Activities
During the week we will be developing
Puppians new forum∞ (start using it now) to take pressure off the main forum and also trying to develop the
developers forum∞. We will be encouraging Puppys in the use of IRC and voicemail. We will be suggesting ways to inform other Penguins and Windows users of the benefits of Puppy. We are going to have fun. Other ideas welcome. Guests and new Puppys welcome.

ok, it looks like I can do a chat about Web site design/HTML and Graphic Design in Puppy Linux from . I would have done this chat later in the week so I could promote it at school, however my work schedule didn't work out as I had hoped. That's ok though as I really do need the hours at work.

If we wanted quickly to spread the use of Puppy and extol its virtues - and let people have a chance to use it without the palaver of downloading (which may put some off to start with), how about this for an idea?
If every Puppy user burnt 5 CD’s (cost these days is peanuts) and then gave them to selected friends/ family/ colleagues, we could increase the user base by a potential of 5 times!
I would be happy to produce a jpg CD cover (both the round CD cover and front CD case sheet) for people to put on their CD’s if they want them to look more “corporate” with the Puppy house style (we already have this) - new ones welcome . . . [ Insert by

Ubuntu propagates their distro by sending CD’s free of charge to anyone who requests them. I don’t think we could do that, but we could “network” spread Puppy.
If those new users became enchanted like the rest of us, we could do other “Give away a Puppy” weeks in the future.
