- Transmission∞ - Small and simple bittorrent client (Details∞)
- uTorrent∞ (very simlar to Azureus but much faster; Windows only)
- LibBt∞ (C-language Impementation of the BitTorrent core protocols. Small and works. Requires some other libraries though)
- Technical Preview of Opera 9∞ (with built-in bittorrent support; Opera will soon add bittorrent support to their stable version too)
- LimeWire (Java client that supports the Gnutella∞ network)

A great way for you to download and even share the Puppy Linux files with others is to use a peer-to-peer (P2P) file swapping/file sharing program. - Install the Python∞ & PyGtk∞ packages from Grafpup Linux∞ (Puppy-based) with the PupGet package manager using the install alien package option
- Download the usr_devx.sfs∞ compiling support file to /mnt/home (if using a multisession CD/DVD or installed to a Linux partition then download it to /root; either way don't forget to verify with the MD5 checksum)
- Download the BitTorrent source tarball∞
- Reboot Puppy Linux
- Extract the tarball to somewhere like /root/my-documents/tmp
- Go to console (via rxvt); type, for example, cd /root/my-documents/tmp/BitTorrent-4.2.2; then type python setup.py install; then type bittorrent to run it the first time and change the settings as you like them.
