Another new pup, now in the litter :)
A Linux newbie (about the 3rd time)... and a sometimes OS hack(!). He's been fiddling with computers for about 35 years (starting with slide rules in 1970 and a 'knitting needle' computer about the same time)... and has been a big advocate for perl and trying to get contemporary computer users to recognize/accept the concept of 'software tools' and the unix idea of piping in general... but more of this later.

From my point of view, with a wiki, the 'document' should be just that and
not a discussion forum. Sure, people can add comments (and that's why I've added the extra link to this page) but everything in a document should be 'on topic' and further add to the usefulness and relevance of the document. --
