The Puppy Linux Foundation is planning on changing the puppylinux.org site to display a new set of web pages∞ that will be better in appearance, functionality, and more oriented to user's. The plan is to change it over at the end of this weekend.
A Wizard to make it easier to change X servers is under development by Barry, MU, and other developers. With this user's can have more advanced display/video options.
Lobster has some pawedcast's (like podcast) yet unannounced here. See the announcements section in the forum∞.

The forum is having some issues∞ today because Google (*.googlebot.com) is indexing and slowing down the server. So, its both good and bad news.
As announced∞ during the weekend, the Foundation has a new set of web pages that is hosted at puppylinux.org. Also see Raffy's post∞ on the blog.
The Documentation Committee is developing new documentation web pages∞, also.
The first test release∞ of Puppy Linux 1.0.7 was released on November 23 and is is available for testing.
Grafpup Linux standard 1.0.1∞ has been released.
The WakePup boot floppy∞ has been updated.

Opinion. My opinion stems from a recent thread by Lobster as well as the growth of puppy.
As the forum grows we see new questions and more answers. All the while the old questions and answers are being buried. We have had irc get togethers, how about a documentation day? Before the forum grows to large and it is probably past that point. But with some teamwork and togetherness we can accomplish something that will serve those who come to find puppy. Read∞

Well with a successful week of testing it seems there were not many "bugs". This is a good thing.
And Lobster pointed out a most obvious thing, bcrypt. While I was aware of bcrypt I was unaware.
I had always noticed it in the old bin but never paid much attention. So,bcrypt can be used by typing bcrypt in rxvt, or compiled from source very easily with more security or less, visit the website Here∞ Also Lobster made it easier to use download 007bcrypt∞
I have released a dotpup I have named puppyPDF Advanced, as it now includes options to convert pdf to text & html,
with a couple clicks of a button. I have figured out how to merge pdf files with ghostscript but it will take me more time. That is unless are friend thoughtjourney get's soon quick. Download puppyPDF Advanced click here∞

Big BK released his version of user_more.sfs of kde. This one proves to be more stable but is still in testing.
For more info Read Here∞ I don't know what plugin it is using, but I am able to listen to streaming radio stations in konqueror. Barry what plugin is it using, it does'nt seem to have any media plugins ? It has the flash plugin, but that is it ? And it is clearer than mozilla gxine!! I have also got ktorrent & apollon working. By downloading the modules from slax & putting the bin files in /root/my-applications/bin/ & the libs in /root/my-applications/lib/ But you will have to add your own menu entries & what not. screenshots∞

Puppy Linux version 1.0.6 is now available! The Live-CD CD Image (.ISO) files are 55.7 MB. The major item in this release is a complete version of AbiWord 2.4.1. Another big thing is that there is another CD image that now has support for multisession DVDs with even better support for multisession CDs. See the official release notes under 7 November 2005 on the developer's news page∞ for more on what's new.

I read some day's back about someone wanting an iso with multiple puppies. Why is this not an option?
The iso would still weigh less than those of other distro's. I liked the idea at best, and thought it would be
novel to be able to boot into chubby or default puppy and maybe a surprise pup ? Just a thought.
