Just a quick note in case you thought I'd gone away: Daily, I review the Puppy Blog, Forum, CE Forum,
LinuxQuestions and this Wiki, responding when I think I can help. My
PupWin98.zip currently has version 1.07 with Mozilla. Am watching, waiting, testing newer versions and will publish an updated
PupWin98 when convinced it's stable. Hey, 1.07 is very, very good, does what needs to be done, tiny, fast and just works. The version 2 series is promising and the improvements are great (I can hardly wait, but must). Being slow and methodical, I may appear asleep to many. P.S. Next update to
PupWin98 will be completely hosted at freeVEDA.org without ad banners.

My resume is at
http://freeveda.org/resume/jgd.htm∞. The first paragraph:
I use
JavaScript, PHP, Visual Basic and Forth, and, when necessary, any other computer language. The cost to you, the client, ranges from free to expensive, depending upon your needs and resources, and my availability. My
FontEdit program is used worldwide, offered free with opportunity to purchase the next version. My
TextList program was written for the public domain. I've implemented and administered access security on mainframe computer systems. I've automated manual operations and converted systems to newer computing environments. I've designed, programmed, documented and implemented many applications including accounting, astrology, inventory, payroll, scheduling, statistics, etc.
I re-packaged Puppy Linux 0.9.9 to run from a desktop icon, without CD and without floppy, residing on the hard disk. I call it
PupWin98 and am working on
PupWin95 and
PupWinXP versions. Hope to soon upgrade
PupWin98 to Puppy version 1.0.2. See
http://www.freeveda.org/linux/puppy/index.html∞.
Update: Now at Puppy version 1.0.4.
Update: Now at Puppy version 1.0.7.
Wrote Buddy-List Mail-O-Mat version 2.1, an open-source procmail filter program and web-page tuning tool to deliver only wanted mail by using block/buddy lists and naive Bayesian statistical analysis. Am getting ready to release version 3.1; does the same thing without using procmail and gets mail from any POP3 mail server. This extremely necessary task has consumed my time keeping me from training my puppy.
Update: Buddy-List Mail-O-Mat version 3.1 is done; at

My Forth lab is here:
