• A convert to standards, CASE, process engineering, clearly structured & written documentation and quality
• Linux : Redhat 5.1 in 1997 -> Ubuntu by 2005, plus Puppy & PCLinuxOS in 2006
• Windoze free since about 2001

Puppy focus

Creating a sub-distro ("Puppy-Stay") per customer (holiday resort) that meets the following requirements:

1. easily clonable/installed onto a set of PCs, that are made available for use by guests,
2. each guest can take their work (eg on USB) and a "Puppy-Stay" system (eg on a preburnt CD) away with them
3. very easily reset after each guest leaves, ready for the next guest
4. easily able to merge new releases of Puppy into the sub-distro
