"I would be willing to offer both individual and commercial technical support in the Seattle - Tacoma - Fort Lewis - Olympia area. There are millions of people eager to escape the Borg, unwilling to wait for an answer on a forum, and unable to travel to a monthly Linux User Group meeting. My fee is 25 cents a mile travel time from my office in Bellevue or my home in Yelm, depending on when I visit you, plus $25 for the initial consultation up to two hours, then $30 billable for each hour at your option after that. Just the other day I collected $40 from a college student. All I did was install Puppy 2.13 with the latest Seamonkey tweaks thanks to Barry and Tomdoodly (also, my own font tweaks work great, once Pango is disabled), get her DSL and printer going thanks to rarsa and pakt's procedures, and install Adobe Reader thanks to MU's dotpup. The delicious part is, she's the daughter of a Microsoft executive. She tried to hand me $100, but I said no that's too much, I'm not out to gouge you. Best of all, I managed to say adios and make it out to my car before I cracked up laughing!"
