How To Burn a Puppy CD/DVD

This page will help you burn your bootable Puppy CD or DVD. Windows and other linux users should see BurningLinuxIsoBasics. If you are running puppy, then follow the directions below

Preparations

If you are running puppy then first make sure you have a blank CD inserted in your burner drive. You may need to run the CD/DVD drive wizard which can be found in menu -> setup -> CD/DVD drive wizard.

Burning the cd

This is the easy part. simply go to menu -> multimedia -> BurnIso2CD and choose the type (cd or dvd, usally cd) then choose your drive, /dev/hdc is a common one, and finally browse to your .iso file. Then the program will burn the cd for you and you can boot from it!
